PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in project controls, planning, or cost management.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling and cost control methodologies.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Familiarity with large-scale construction, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Establish and maintain project control systems and procedures.
• Monitor project progress and performance against baseline plans.
• Analyze schedule delays, cost variances, and performance trends.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status to management.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Implement risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
• Oversee cost control, budgeting, and financial tracking.
• Ensure proper documentation of project changes (change management).
• Support contract administration, including claims and variations.
• Utilize project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
