Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of full-cycle Recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated successful track record as a Recruiter (or the like)
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Trucking / Warehousing / Transportation / Logistics experience preferred
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems preferred (specifically, ADP)
  • Self-starter, attention to detail, focus, and commitment
  • Must be organized with the ability to coordinate, balance, and prioritize amongst several internal companies and departments in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities for various internal and external applicants, employees, and customers
  • Must be able to accommodate working business hours in the Eastern Time Zone
  • Must be able to travel to site locations as needed for Recruiting events or when implementing new sites
  • Utilize problem solving skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and solid judgment in the planning and performance of all the duties and functions of the job
  • Must have the ability to utilize problem solving skills and be able handle high stress environments while working efficiently and rapidly to adjust to evolving business needs under the pressure of deadlines
  • Proficient knowledge of office management systems, equipment, and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with peers in-person, via email, via phone, or in remote meetings with personnel in multiple locations throughout the country

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cultivate communication with Facility Managers, Site Managers, and Hiring Managers to clarify specific hiring needs on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain communication (via ADP, email, and phone) with both internal and external candidates to manage expectations throughout the hiring process
  • Excellent attention to detail as this position requires careful screening to ensure candidates meet minimum requirements
  • Accurately update and maintain internal tracking databases in a timely manner on an ongoing basis
  • Assist with recruiting functions to include applicant tracking system maintenance and participation in recruiting meetings
  • Coordinates pre-screening and interview scheduling of candidates
  • Participate in recruiting events as needed
  • Assist with contract transitions and incumbent capture
  • Write and distribute emails
  • Responds to inquiries from managers and employees as well as acts as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with senior management and senior administrative team to handle requests, calendars, and other inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned
