Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Successful completion of the USMLE Step 1 Exam
• Current Medical Student or Resident Physician
• Prior experience with teaching/tutoring
• 6-10+ hours of availability for tutoring on a weekly basis
• Desire to commit 1+ years with opportunities for pay increases over time
• Creative, organized, and adaptive

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design tailored study plans for students based on their timeline and study goals
• Deliver personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions that cover essential USMLE Step 1 topics
• Assess student progress regularly through practice exams to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement effective review sessions that target areas of improvement, including major organ systems
• Create customized memory tools to quickly solidify material to memory
• Collaborate with students to build confidence, improve test-taking strategies, and foster a positive attitude toward challenging topics
• Attend paid job training requiring the tutor complete and review Step 1 practice exams
