Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent (travel school graduates are encouraged to apply).
- At least 2 years of recent leisure travel industry experience.
- Experience using airline reservation systems, ticketing platforms, GDS, and online booking tools.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel planning.
- Excellent communication, customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive worldwide geography knowledge.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment.
- Ticket void and simple exchange experience is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and book domestic and international vacations, including customized FIT (Fully Independent Travel) itineraries.
- Assist Members and non-Members via phone, email, and web chat.
- Match travelers with the best destinations, travel products, and our client’s exclusive benefits.
- Build long-term client relationships that encourage repeat business.
- Stay current on travel promotions, destinations, and industry trends.
- Process travel reservations while maintaining compliance with ARC regulations and our client’s policies.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel products that enhance the customer experience.
- Meet performance goals while providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist with travel-related problem resolution and itinerary changes.
- Mentor fellow Travel Contact Center Associates when needed.
