Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in external B2B sales and account management
- Background within animal health, veterinary, pharmaceutical, or a related sector
- Strong commercial awareness, including pricing and negotiation
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- A proactive, organised approach with strong time management skills
- Confidence in managing your own territory and working independently
- A consultative sales style, with the ability to ask insightful questions
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a portfolio of independent veterinary practices within your territory
- Retain and grow existing customer relationships
- Drive revenue through sales of consumables and value-added services
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build account plans for key customers
- Understand customer needs and introduce appropriate solutions
- Qualify opportunities related to practice management technology
- Maintain accurate records of activity within CRM systems
- Manage your own call cycle, diary, and appointments
- Represent the business at trade shows and industry events
