Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or an equivalent field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in student affairs, event management, or a related administrative role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and external partners.
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and student development.
- Proficiency with digital platforms and documentation management.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Charter/renew clubs and societies; maintain constitutions, adviser assignments, and recognition status; ensure adherence to university policies, code of conduct, finance rules, risk and HSE requirements.
- Plan and deliver a year-round calendar (welcome week, cultural/sports/volunteering, leadership and service-learning, recognition events); coordinate bookings, permits, logistics, vendors, and post-event reviews.
- Recruit, train, and coach student leaders (Union/club officers) on governance, budgeting, inclusive practice, safeguarding, event planning, and risk management; run leader onboarding and refreshers each term.
- Maintain accurate portal/web pages and event listings; produce campaign materials; manage student-facing channels; and timely stakeholder updates. Track participation, diversity of engagement, learning outcomes, and satisfaction; run “you said—we did” loops; submit termly dashboards and an annual engagement report with improvement actions.
- Use approved platforms for proposals, bookings, attendance, incident logs, and leader training records; maintain secure, auditable documentation.
- Map activities to co-curricular transcript/awards; verify student completions and issue endorsements/badges in coordination with the Deanship.
