Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering
• Valid Society of Engineers (SOE) membership
• Equivalency certificate from the UAE Ministry of Human Resources
• Currently based in Dubai and available to start immediately
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised institution
• Proficiency in structural analysis software.
• Familiarity with UAE and international building codes and standards

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects in compliance with UAE codes and standards
• Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software to ensure the safety, integrity, and efficiency of all structural systems
• Prepare and submit structural drawings, technical reports, and engineering documentation for Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority approvals
• Coordinate and collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and project managers throughout all design and construction phases
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, verify that structural works conform to approved drawings, and resolve technical issues on the ground
• Evaluate existing structures, carry out structural assessments and retrofitting recommendations, and support renovation or repair projects as required
• Ensure all structural work adheres to health, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of technical accuracy
