Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering
- Valid Society of Engineers (SOE) membership
- Equivalency certificate from the UAE Ministry of Human Resources
- Currently based in Dubai and available to start immediately
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised institution
- Proficiency in structural analysis software.
- Familiarity with UAE and international building codes and standards
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects in compliance with UAE codes and standards- Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software to ensure the safety, integrity, and efficiency of all structural systems
- Prepare and submit structural drawings, technical reports, and engineering documentation for Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority approvals
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and project managers throughout all design and construction phases
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, verify that structural works conform to approved drawings, and resolve technical issues on the ground
- Evaluate existing structures, carry out structural assessments and retrofitting recommendations, and support renovation or repair projects as required
- Ensure all structural work adheres to health, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of technical accuracy
