Staff Frontend Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience building and scaling complex modern web applications and frontend systems
• Deep expertise in frontend architecture, component systems, state management, and performance optimization
• Strong proficiency with modern AI engineering and design tooling to accelerate development workflows
• Exceptional design sensibility with a focus on UX quality, accessibility, and visual precision
• Strong systems thinking skills to design scalable UI architectures across large products
• Collaborative, low-ego approach with the ability to communicate ideas clearly across disciplines

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own major areas of the frontend architecture, driving decisions around scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate UI development, prototyping, debugging, and testing
• Define how AI can improve both the product experience and internal frontend engineering workflows
• Design and implement polished, production-ready interfaces from rough concepts to refined experiences
• Architect reusable UI systems, component libraries, and frontend abstractions to enable fast development at scale
• Partner with design, product, backend, and data teams to deliver cohesive, customer-centered workflows
• Mentor engineers and help establish a strong frontend culture centered on craftsmanship and modern tooling
