Specialist Anesthetist (IVF)

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialized training in Anesthesiology.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology and a valid medical license.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a practicing Anesthesiologist, with specific experience in IVF or fertility clinics highly preferred.
• Proficiency in managing sedation and general anesthesia for short, outpatient procedures.
• IVF or Independent day care surgery experience in Obstetric cases mandatory. IV Sedation mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer anesthesia for oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments to evaluate patient suitability, identify potential risks, and plan anesthetic management.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status meticulously during procedures, responding promptly to any physiological changes.
• Manage anesthetic complications and emergencies effectively, utilizing advanced resuscitation techniques when necessary.
