REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering or software development experience within a Platform group delivering services to internal engineering teams.
• Experience working in a cloud environment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Crossplane.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes administration; experience with Tanka is beneficial.
• Experience or interest in implementing, integrating, and maintaining observability systems and processes.
• Comfort working in a remote-first company and collaborating across regions for on-call coverage.
• Experience operating code in production environments.
• Experience with Go and flexibility to use shell scripting or other appropriate tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Grafana Tanka.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Develop and maintain the Internal Engineering Platform.
• Manage and develop the CI/CD platform.
• Automate build, release, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain application configuration management tooling.
• Automate software updates.
• Manage artefacts and artefact management systems.
• Work with application development, security, and other internal teams to support implementation of their requirements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting Platform tooling.
• Set and contribute to the team roadmap, including selecting priorities and gracefully sunsetting obsolete systems.
• Design, compare, and choose solutions for platform productivity needs.
• Develop next-generation CI/CD systems.
• Develop, secure, and manage automation runner infrastructure.
• Develop security automation as part of CI/CD systems.
• Develop AI-backed tooling to improve support for internal users.
• Own the full lifecycle of code, including design documentation, development, testing, deployment, incident response, and decommissioning.
