REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional engineering certification (e.g., PE) is highly preferred, showcasing advanced expertise and commitment.
  • Familiarity with local construction codes and regulations is crucial for ensuring compliance and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess project performance and implement necessary adjustments effectively.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) to streamline project workflows.
  • Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and manage diverse teams, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in additional languages can be advantageous for diverse teams.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are critical for identifying issues and implementing solutions efficiently.
  • Physical fitness and stamina are important as the role requires regular site visits and inspections in various conditions.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and timelines.
  • Perform regular inspections of work progress and quality, identifying issues and implementing corrective measures promptly.
  • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and resources needed for construction.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and compliance records.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting safety audits and training sessions for site personnel.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets, actively monitoring expenditures and resource allocation.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and resolve any design-related issues.
  • Review technical drawings and plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility before construction begins.
  • Support the project manager in identifying potential risks and developing proactive strategies to mitigate them.
  • Engage in problem-solving on-site, addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during the construction process.
