Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Recognized Diploma (minimum 1 year) or ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Communications, or Computer Science.
• Possess a valid (or recently expired/transferable) SIRA Security Systems Technician Card/Certificate.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of practical, hands-on experience installing security systems in Dubai or the UAE.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (multimeters, network testers). Ability to read basic floor plans and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to work on construction sites, use ladders, and perform physical labor as required for installations.
• Proficiency in English.
• A valid UAE Driving License is highly preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform physical installation of security equipment, including CCTV cameras, Access Control readers, magnetic locks, push buttons, and Intrusion Alarm sensors.
• Execute structured cabling, trunking, piping, and termination for low-voltage security systems.
• Assist the engineering team in system power-up, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, wiring, and connectivity issues on-site.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on existing client security systems.
• Ensure all installations are neat, secure, and compliant with SIRA physical installation guidelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment on all construction and retro-fit sites.
• Provide daily site progress updates to the supervising Engineer.
