Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including delivering high-impact features and driving adoption within enterprise SaaS or B2B software products
  • Hands-on fluency with AI assistants, agents, and CLI tooling, you are a power user of the tools your personas use, and experience with Agent platforms or developer-facing AI tooling; MCP strongly preferred
  • Strong customer instincts, you know how to run structured discovery, synthesise signals from enterprise customers, translate customer needs into validated product decisions, and represent the customer voice credibly in technical and leadership conversations
  • A track record of driving adoption and growth for a platform, API, or developer-facing product, you understand activation funnels, know how to find why usage stalls, and can articulate technical value to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated field enablement and storytelling ability, you can turn a client engagement into a demo, a playbook, a piece of documentation, or a showcase that moves both customers and internal teams
  • Experience running customer pilots or proof of concepts and converting them into product evidence and reference stories
  • A data-driven mindset, you define adoption, funnel, and business impact metrics before you ship, and you use post launch data and research to guide iteration and prioritisation
  • Proven ability to navigate technically complex, ambiguous platform problem spaces and make clear scoping and prioritisation decisions across multiple engineering squads and product areas
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, GTM, Customer Success, and Security, including dependencies across multiple product areas and teams
  • Enough technical fluency to be credible with engineers and power users, you can read the landscape, ask sharp questions, write clearly about tools and agents, and participate in architecture discussions without needing to own technical direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to represent the product area confidently in leadership reviews, external events, and directly with enterprise customers
  • Exposure to enterprise deployment complexity, regulated industries, admin governance is a plus
  • Ability to work in the UK on an ongoing basis

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Own the MCP adoption strategy and shape roadmap priorities based on usage and persona evidence, in partnership with the Director of Engineering who owns the technical roadmap.
  • Own the activation and adoption pathway, understanding why connected organisations don’t become active tool callers, run research and data analysis against usage patterns, and shape product and go to market investments that convert connection into daily value
  • Champion CLI power users, agent builders, and tool calling developers as core product personas, spending real time with them, understanding their workflows across Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT, and making their needs legible to engineering and product leadership
  • Sit with customers on their actual use cases, run pilots and proof of concepts alongside client teams, capturing what they build with MCP tools and agents, and turning those engagements into showcases, reference stories, and adoption plays the field can run
  • Be the field enablement engine for MCP, building the demos, playbooks, documentation, and enablement content that helps Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions teams tell the MCP story and land it with enterprise customers
  • Document the platform for the people who use it, clear, current, use case driven documentation of MCP toolpoints, agents, and integration patterns that makes the ecosystem self serve for customers and internal teams
  • Partner day to day with the MCP engineering lead as product and engineering peers, jointly owning the go live and launch plan for MCP capabilities, from how features are shaped and released to how the adoption curve is driven afterwards
  • Help engineers see what customers see, bringing client use cases, research findings, and adoption data into engineering conversations so the team understands what to build to unlock more usage
  • Be the internal front door for MCP, help other teams understand the tool surface, see where their capabilities fit, and take part in building toolpoints with us, maintaining a federated view of tool coverage and capability gaps across contributing teams
  • Work closely with our client’s team to ensure a coherent and aligned customer experience is delivered regardless of how customers access MCP capabilities, surfacing cross-team insights and dependencies
  • Own business metrics, usage patterns, and data signals, partnering with Business Intelligence to define success metrics for every capability, instrument from day one, and use post launch data to guide iteration and prioritisation
  • Author crisp product briefs and use case narratives grounded in customer evidence that give engineering and design unambiguous direction on the problem and the outcome
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across UX research, GTM, Customer Success, Security, Smart Assist, and platform teams to move capabilities from concept to GA and measure adoption
  • Represent MCP in leadership reviews and customer-facing conversations, including enterprise account engagements and external events, a leading voice for the platform inside and outside the company
  • Shape the commercial trajectory of the MCP platform, contributing to pricing, packaging, and monetisation decisions as the platform matures
  • Mentor incoming PMs and share platform and persona knowledge across the broader product organisation
