JOB DETAILS

REQUIREMENTS

• Senior-level (6+ years) DevOps experience owning production systems end-to-end
• Deep hands-on AWS experience across: Compute, networking, security, observability, and databases
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized microservices
• Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Proven experience running customer-facing SaaS systems at scale
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance readiness
• Production experience with all listed AWS database services
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar)
• Terraform experience
• Experience operating systems under strict SLA and regulatory requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture

• Design, build, and operate highly available, secure, and scalable AWS infrastructure
• Own and manage:

– EC2, ECS (EC2 & Fargate), EKS

– VPC, ALB/NLB, Route53, PrivateLink

• Design systems for multi-tenant SaaS with strict availability and SLA requirements
• Implement infrastructure as code using:

-CloudFormation / CDK (required)

-Terraform (good to have)

CI/CD & Deployment

• Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Build application and infrastructure pipelines
• Implement and operate: Blue-green deployments, and Canary deployments
• Ensure safe, automated, repeatable deployments across environments

Observability & Reliability

• Design and operate a full observability stack using: CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements

Databases & Data Services (Production Experience Required)

• Architect, deploy, and operate AWS database services in production: RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache (Redis), OpenSearch
• Handle: Multi-AZ setups, Read replicas, Backup & restore strategies, Disaster recovery planning

Security & Compliance

• Own cloud security posture end-to-end: IAM (least-privilege access), KMS, Secrets Manager, and AWS WAF
• Implement secure secret handling and key management
• Support and prepare systems for: SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA, and PCI
• Work with audit, compliance, and penetration-testing processes

Automation & Tooling

• Write Python scripts for: DevOps automation, Tooling, and Operational workflows
• Improve developer experience through automation and platform tooling

Ownership & Leadership

• Own the DevOps roadmap and technical direction
• Define best practices for: Infrastructure, Deployments, Security, and Reliability
• Act as the go-to person for cloud and platform decisions
