Senior Account Manager
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
– 5–7+ years’ experience in account management, client services, or project leadership
– Agency experience strongly preferred, ideally within a fast-paced marketing, advertising, or digital environment
– A proven ability to manage complex campaigns and multiple projects simultaneously
– Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills
– Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
– Commercial awareness across scoping, budgets, and delivery
– A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
– The ability to remain calm, clear, and collaborative under pressure
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Lead Client Relationships
– Act as the primary day-to-day contact for key client stakeholders
– Build strong, trusted partnerships through proactive communication
– Lead client meetings, campaign reviews, and status discussions
– Manage expectations around scope, timelines, and deliverables
– Translate client feedback into clear direction for internal teams
OWN ACCOUNT DELIVERY
– Take responsibility for the successful delivery of campaigns, retainers, and projects
– Translate client objectives into clear briefs, timelines, and delivery plans
– Coordinate closely with strategy, creative, production, media, and tech teams
– Track progress across workstreams and proactively manage risks
– Ensure work is delivered on time, on brief, and to the highest standard
DRIVE STRATEGIC VALUE
– Develop a strong understanding of client businesses, brands, and markets
– Partner with strategy and creative teams to shape impactful campaigns
– Contribute to account planning and long-term client success
– Identify opportunities to expand and strengthen client relationships
MANAGE COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE
– Manage scopes of work aligned with proposals and contracts
– Monitor project budgets and delivery against the agreed scope
– Flag scope changes early and support re-scoping where needed
– Ensure delivered work aligns with commercial agreements and invoicing
ENABLE TEAMS TO DO GREAT WORK
– Ensure teams have the clarity, assets, and information needed to deliver effectively
– Facilitate collaboration across internal teams and disciplines
– Maintain clear project documentation and visibility
– Support a sustainable and well-paced delivery rhythm
MAINTAIN QUALITY
– Review work before client delivery to ensure accuracy and polish
– Ensure outputs align with strategy, brand guidelines, and objectives
– Escalate risks or issues early to keep work moving forward
– Capture feedback and insights to improve future delivery
