Security Solutions Architect

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, solution architecture, or customer-facing security architecture roles.
• Hands-on experience using the Qualys platform in an Enterprise environment.
• Experience working with partners, MSSPs, or channel organizations in a technical enablement capacity.
• Proven experience managing a vulnerability or risk program in a large enterprise environment.
• Expertise in asset management, vulnerability management, patching, compliance, and cloud security.
• Working knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Knowledge of common security and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI, automation, or scripting to improve operational efficiency.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred

• Experience supporting Enterprise customers and strategic partners.
• Track record of influencing product direction through field feedback.
• Experience building managed security services or joint solution architectures.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps workflows and cloud-native security.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNP, or public cloud certifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead technical strategy for pre-sales opportunities to secure technical wins.
• Act as a trusted advisor to help customers design, adopt, and operationalize security solutions on the Qualys platform.
• Deliver architecture workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and technical deep dives.
• Design and execute high-quality Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Value (POV) engagements.
• Enable strategic partners through technical training, solution guidance, and joint architecture development.
• Support the development of partner-delivered managed security service offerings.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, partners, Product Management, and Engineering teams.
• Produce technical enablement content including solution guides, white papers, and blogs.
