Salesforce Delivery Lead

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years in Salesforce delivery/programme roles, including 3+ years leading multi-workstream delivery.
• Proven multi-cloud Salesforce delivery experience — Sales Cloud and Service Cloud essential; Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud or Agentforce/Einstein exposure strongly preferred.
• Strong release management and environment governance experience in an enterprise Salesforce org.
• Track record managing implementation partners and blended internal/external teams.
• Structured delivery methodology (Agile/hybrid); confident with RAID, gate governance and executive-level RAG reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management up to executive level; able to operate autonomously and bring order to competing demands.

RESPONSIBILITES

Delivery management

• Own delivery planning, sequencing and prioritisation across concurrent workstreams and business lines (CFD, Gold, Cash Equities, Wealth/Invest).
• Run delivery ceremonies, track milestones and dependencies, and maintain RAID logs across all active projects.
• Orchestrate UAT cycles, gate approvals, go-live readiness and hypercare across business and technical stakeholders.

Release & environment governance

• Own the release calendar, deployment governance, environment strategy and change control for the Salesforce org.
• Enforce quality standards across configuration, development and integration work.

Partner & vendor delivery management

• Manage day-to-day delivery from implementation and integration partners: sprint outputs, quality and burn tracking (SOW and commercials remain with the Head of Department).
• Coordinate with Salesforce (account and technical teams) on platform capabilities, licensing usage and escalations.

Team & capacity

• Coordinate the work of Senior Salesforce Managers/Admins and the Junior Salesforce Administrator; balance project demand against support capacity.
• Develop delivery capability within the team: standards, documentation, knowledge retention.

Reporting & governance

• Produce delivery status reporting (RAG status, risks, asks) to the department’s established reporting framework.
• Deputise for the Head of Department in delivery forums as required.
