Sales Executive – Water Treatment
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- BE/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the sales of water treatment equipment and chemicals.
- Valid Driving License (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of water chemistry and treatment processes.
- Ability to analyze water samples and prepare technical recommendations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to meet sales targets and manage a diverse client portfolio.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and proposal-writing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell water treatment equipment, including filters, softeners, RO plants, ultrafiltration units, pumps, and dosing systems.
- Promote and sell water treatment chemicals for cooling towers, chilled water, boilers, potable water, and wastewater applications.
- Conduct site visits, assess customer requirements, and recommend suitable water treatment solutions.
- Analyze water samples and prepare technical reports for clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, technical proposals, and quotations.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively develop new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with the service and engineering teams for system installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
- Ensure proper documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates.
- Support annual sales targets, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for the territory.
- Promote AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and long-term service agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer satisfaction guidelines.
