Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • BE/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the sales of water treatment equipment and chemicals.
  • Valid Driving License (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of water chemistry and treatment processes.
  • Ability to analyze water samples and prepare technical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to meet sales targets and manage a diverse client portfolio.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and proposal-writing skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell water treatment equipment, including filters, softeners, RO plants, ultrafiltration units, pumps, and dosing systems.
  • Promote and sell water treatment chemicals for cooling towers, chilled water, boilers, potable water, and wastewater applications.
  • Conduct site visits, assess customer requirements, and recommend suitable water treatment solutions.
  • Analyze water samples and prepare technical reports for clients.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, technical proposals, and quotations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively develop new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the service and engineering teams for system installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
  • Ensure proper documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates.
  • Support annual sales targets, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for the territory.
  • Promote AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and long-term service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer satisfaction guidelines.
