Safety Trainer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years of experience in construction, general industry or oil & gas where at least 50% of the job duties were managing HSE/safety requirements
• Experience either conducting safety training classes or a desire to start training
• Basic use of a computer and browser technologies
• Minimum high school graduate
• Computer skills using a browser and meeting software like Microsoft Teams preferred (PowerPoint experience is not required)
• OSHA 10, 30 or 500 preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage your availability to train
• Start and conduct training seasons online using meeting software like Microsoft Teams or Zoom
• Follow a training presentation
• Provide attendees with your knowledge and experience throughout the course
• Encourage attendee participation and answer any questions
• Assess attendee comprehension and manage the class dynamic such that attendees effectively learn more about the subject
