Rental Account Coordinator
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience or strong familiarity with Florida sales tax and Osceola County TDT (short-term rental tax compliance) – HIGHLY PREFERRED
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Highly organized and detail-oriented
– Must be available daily and responsive during EST business hours
– Ability to work independently in a remote environment
– Comfortable using systems like Hostaway and QuickBooks
– Strong accountability with financial tracking and documentation
– Reliable internet and dedicated workspace
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage guest messaging, bookings, and calendars through Hostaway
– Communicate daily with homeowners to provide updates and maintain relationships
– Maintain consistent communication with company ownership
– Coordinate cleanings, maintenance, and property turnovers
– Monitor all expenses and ensure every cost is properly documented and accounted for within Storybook Vacation Homes systems
– Track expenses, payouts, and financial activity in QuickBooks
– Ensure accurate tracking, reconciliation, and support for filing of Florida sales tax and Osceola County tourist development tax (TDT)
– Assist with owner reporting and account performance tracking
– Monitor listings for pricing, availability, and accuracy
– Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally
