Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in *Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline*.
  • *Minimum 4–8 years of UAE experience in QA/QC within Interior Fit-Out / Joinery projects.*
  • *Interior Fit-Out experience is mandatory.*
  • Strong hands-on experience with *QA/QC procedures, ITPs, inspections, material approvals, and NCR management*.
  • Good knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, flooring, ceilings, partitions, painting, and other fit-out works.
  • Experience coordinating with *clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams*.
  • Strong understanding of project specifications, approved drawings, material specifications, and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of UAE quality requirements, fire-rated materials, and relevant authority standards is an added advantage.
  • Experience preparing *quality dossiers, inspection reports, checklists, test reports, and handover documentation*.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple quality requirements simultaneously.
  • *NEBOSH/IOSH or relevant HSE certification is an added advantage*, but quality experience should be the primary focus.
  • Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice will be preferred.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain *Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality procedures*.
  • Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and completed works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Review and coordinate *Material Submittals, samples, technical documents, and material approvals*.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors regarding quality requirements and inspections.
  • Monitor site activities and ensure work is executed in accordance with approved shop drawings and specifications.
  • Identify non-conforming work and raise *Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)* where required.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions and verify proper closure of NCRs and quality observations.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and site inspections to identify potential quality issues before completion.
  • Maintain inspection records, test reports, material certificates, approvals, quality dossiers, and other project quality documentation.
  • Coordinate required testing and inspections with consultants and relevant third parties.
  • Monitor calibration and validity of testing and measuring equipment where applicable.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports for management.
  • Support project teams in achieving quality objectives and successful project handover.
