Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

* Experience: 4–5 years of professional experience in PHP development, with at least 3 years focused on the Laravel ecosystem.
* Framework Mastery: Deep understanding of Laravel Core, Eloquent ORM, Service Providers, and Middleware.
* Database Expertise: Proven experience in database optimization, indexing, and managing large data loads.
* Integration Skills: Expertise in RESTful and SOAP API development and consumption.
* Frontend Basics: Proficiency in JavaScript (Vue.js or React preferred), HTML5, and CSS3.
* DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS/Azure cloud environments.
* Version Control: Expert-level knowledge of Git and collaborative workflows (GitFlow).

Preferred
* Local Presence: Currently based in the UAE (Dubai/Sharjah/Abu Dhabi).
* Portfolio: Experience building and scaling SaaS products or ERP-style platforms.
* Problem Solving: A “get things done” attitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues under pressure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Architect & Develop: Design and maintain robust, scalable web applications using the Laravel framework.
* Data Management: Optimize database schemas and queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to handle large-scale data sets and high-concurrency environments.
* Integrations: Develop and manage complex API integrations with payment gateways, CRM systems, and third-party logistics providers.
* Performance Tuning: Implement caching strategies (Redis/Memcached) and queue manag
ement (RabbitMQ/Laravel Horizon) to ensure low-latency performance.
* Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, write unit tests (PHPUnit), and maintain clean, well-documented code following PSR standards.
* System Design: Collaborate with the product team to translate business requirements into technical specifications for high-load features.
