REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years in a supervisory or people leadership capacity
Demonstrated success in managing the following areas:
- Team performance and productivity metrics
- Full lifecycle of employee staffing (hiring, onboarding, and training)
- Employee development and engagement initiatives
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Active listening and coaching skills
Emotional intelligence and empathy
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Host monthly 1-1s with your team.
- Develop an in depth relationship with your team and understand individual needs on the job.
- Discuss progress and performance issues on a regular basis with your team.
- Coordinate and surface needs from your team and recommend solutions with other department heads and teams.
- Learn about team performance and training progress with the Ops Supervisor.
- Surface trends that your team observes so they can be optimized.
- Report up quarterly performance for individuals on your team.
- Understand operations metrics and its impact on your team.
- Identify and address issues when mistakes happen.
- Help teams describe issues and surface them in weekly meetings so we can make a positive impact for those that perform the work.
- Coach team members, support professional development, and remove barriers to drive high performance.
- Leverage metrics and data to inform staffing decisions, including when to onboard and hire new team members, as well as making impactful support decisions for current staff, up to and including termination.
