Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven native advertising experience — Taboola and/or Outbrain strongly preferred (open to comparable native platforms).
  • ~4–7 years in performance marketing with a track record of scaling lead-gen campaigns against ROI/CPA goals.
  • Cross-channel competence beyond native: hands-on with Google Ads and/or Meta.
  • Strong analytical foundation, comfortable in GA4 and tag-based tracking, with the data instincts to decide when to scale, pause, or test.
  • Experience with lead-gen funnels: advertorials/pre-sell pages, multi-step and direct-submit flows.
  • A data-driven owner who’s comfortable in a fast-moving, high-test-volume environment.
  • Fluent English; able to work U.S. business hours (EST overlap).
  • Must-have: Daily, practical use of LLMs in a real marketing workflow and the judgment to review and correct their output.
  • Must-have: Comfort operating in a human-in-the-loop model, you understand why spend decisions need a person to approve them.
  • Positive signal: Hands-on experience with MCP connectors or AI tools connected directly to ad platforms/analytics.
  • Positive signal: Experience with browser-operating agents (e.g. Claude in Chrome) or similar for platform tasks and QA.
  • Positive signal: Having built or supervised agentic workflows (search-term/negation analysis, anomaly detection, reporting).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in additional verticals: finance, insurance, consumer services (EDU lead gen a plus).
  • Automation tooling: Make.com, n8n, or similar.
  • Google Ads / Meta certifications.
  • Familiarity with compliance considerations in regulated advertising.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, launch, optimise, and scale native campaigns on Taboola and Outbrain, owning performance from creative through funnel to lead quality.
  • Extend the same discipline into paid search (Google Ads) and paid social (Meta), with cohesive messaging and tracking across channels.
  • Build and manage lead-gen funnels advertorial/pre-sell pages, multi-step flows, and direct-submit funnels across our verticals.
  • Run daily optimisation cycles: decide what to scale, pause, or test based on CPL, lead quality, ROAS, CTR, and volume not vanity metrics.
  • Drive high-tempo experimentation across creatives, headlines, images, angles, placements, landing pages, audiences, and funnels.
  • Write and direct high-converting headlines, angles, and advertorial copy (with support from creative and AI workflows).
  • Analyse performance with GA4 and tag-based tracking, spot trends early, and make proactive calls backed by data.
  • Stay current on platform changes, native trends, and compliance requirements for advertorial and lead-gen advertising in regulated verticals.
  • Collaborate with design, dev, PM, and other buyers to ship winning funnels quickly.
