Marketing Specialist
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, content writing, business communication, sales support, administrative marketing, or a related role
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience creating customer-facing business content
- Basic knowledge of social media, email marketing, online listings, and website content updates
- Ability to organize lead notes, campaign calendars, files, and follow-up records
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfort using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, spreadsheets, email tools, or similar business software
- Ability to work full-time remotely during agreed business hours
- Ability to follow company procedures and get approval before publishing unclear service, pricing, or technical information
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop Customer-Facing Marketing Content
Write clear content for service descriptions, website updates, email drafts, social media posts, company profiles, flyers, and sales support materials.
Support Digital Marketing Activity
Assist with online business listings, basic website updates, social media planning, email campaign support, and digital content calendars.
Organize Lead and Inquiry Details
Track incoming inquiries from approved channels. Maintain records with customer names, contact details, service interests, inquiry sources, follow-up status, and notes for management review.
Maintain Brand Consistency
Make sure marketing content uses a professional tone and gives accurate information about the company’s services, contact details, and service process.
Assist With Local Marketing Research
Review customer questions, service-related search terms, competitor messaging, and local market trends. Prepare short summaries for management.
Prepare Marketing Reports
Provide simple weekly updates on completed marketing tasks, active campaigns, inquiry sources, posted content, pending items, and recommended next steps.
Organize Marketing Files
Keep logos, photos, service descriptions, approved copy, draft content, customer-facing documents, and campaign materials organized in company folders.
Support Sales and Management Communication
Prepare approved email templates, service summaries, inquiry responses, and follow-up messages. Confirm pricing, technical details, or service claims with management before use.
