Marketing Coordinator & Social Media Specialist (Remote, Part-Time)
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong Canva experience, including social media graphics, stories, reels, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Experience creating social media content for businesses.
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable communicating directly with U.S.-based business owners.
- Professional appearance and confidence during video meetings.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and AI tools such as ChatGPT.
Preferred
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Drip, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or similar tools.
- Experience with social media scheduling platforms.
- Basic WordPress, Webflow, or other CMS experience.
- Familiarity with Google Ads or Meta Ads.
- Experience working with tourism, hospitality, travel, or outdoor recreation brands.
- Agency experience is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project & Workflow Management
- Track ongoing marketing projects and client deliverables.
- Ensure deadlines are met and projects move forward efficiently.
- Coordinate tasks with internal team members and follow up on progress.
- Maintain accurate records and updates within our project management systems.
- Help improve internal processes and documentation.
- Keep marketing initiatives organized across multiple client accounts.
2. Client Communication & Coordination
- Attend client meetings via Google Meet and represent the agency professionally.
- Review AI-generated meeting summaries and organize action items.
- Send follow-up emails, meeting recaps, and project updates.
- Gather photos, videos, logos, and other marketing assets from clients.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for routine client requests.
- Build strong relationships through proactive and responsive communication.
3. Marketing Support & Execution
- Build and schedule email marketing campaigns.
- Assist with website content updates and basic content management tasks.
- Coordinate campaign assets and information needed for marketing initiatives.
- Support marketing launches and ongoing promotional campaigns.
- Review marketing materials for quality and accuracy before publication.
4. Social Media Content Creation
- Create engaging social media content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Design graphics, stories, reels, and promotional content using Canva.
- Write captions that align with each client’s brand voice and marketing goals.
- Schedule and publish content through social media management platforms.
- Assist with monthly content calendars and campaign planning.
- Repurpose existing content into new social media assets.
- Stay current on social media trends and platform best practices.
