REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support, including field-based work and cabling
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, and IT management tools
  • Hands-on experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic network configuration
  • Experience in structured cabling, network installation, and cable management tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is an advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently at client sites with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple on-site tasks and prioritize effectively

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues, including hardware, software, network, and peripheral equipment.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including computers, printers, and networking devices at client premises.
  • Assist clients via phone, email, and remote access, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Carry out structured cabling work, including installation and management of Ethernet cables, patch panels, and switches.
  • Troubleshoot system errors, perform diagnostics, and ensure swift resolutions for any technical issues.
  • Set up and configure network devices such as routers, firewalls, and wireless access points at client sites
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure all systems are running efficiently.
  • Support IT security initiatives, monitoring systems, and performing regular updates and maintenance.
  • Assist with security updates, backups, and data recovery at client locations
  • Document technical procedures and configurations for each client engagement
  • Provide training and guidance to client staff on basic troubleshooting and system usage
