Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • MUST have experience in the networking/security space

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with major networking vendors and their ecosystems (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, VyOS, etc).
  • Ability to discuss technical solutions at a high level with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to all telephone, internet, and email support inquiries as they enter our system, honing your exceptional phone, written, and interpersonal skills by transacting multiple phone calls and emails daily.
  • Be able to recommend products based on the problem the customer is trying to solve and articulate the difference between various levels of products and services to show the benefits of one over the other.
  • Through discovery, relationship building, and problem-solving, provide exceptional customer service, including issue escalation, problem resolution, and upselling additional products and services.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and technical teams to design and present customized networking solutions (e.g., LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security, or cloud connectivity) via virtual meetings and screen sharing.
  • Follow up with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and identify up-sell opportunities.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline, as well as follow up on cold and warm leads, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Improve our service by providing customer feedback and personal experience to management.
  • Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer, utilizing internal resources from other departments as needed.
  • Meet quarterly revenue goals and objectives set by leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, IT directors, and procurement teams, through phone, email, and video conferencing.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their networking challenges and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and customer success teams to align strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
