Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in human resources management or generalist roles with a strong understanding of human capital management principles.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors or UltiPro is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with employment law regulations including FMLA, OSHA standards, workers’ compensation policies, and affirmative action planning.
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting using ATS platforms like iCIMS or Taleo; experience with social media recruitment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills combined with excellent organizational abilities; experience in administrative roles within HR is preferred.
- Prior involvement in benefits administration, performance management processes, and employee relations initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in data collection and entry tasks.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Manage full-cycle talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees through ATS platforms like iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure seamless integration into the company culture and operational procedures.
- Administer employee evaluations, performance management systems, and succession planning initiatives to support career development.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and tact, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve concerns effectively.
- Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA, OSHA, workers’ compensation regulations, and affirmative action planning.
- Support benefits administration activities including enrollment, data collection, and liaising with providers like ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro.
- Assist in HRIS data entry and management using platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or PeopleSoft to ensure accurate workforce records.
- Lead change management projects related to organizational design and HR process improvements using project management best practices.
- Coordinate training & development programs to enhance employee skills and support workforce management objectives.
- Contribute to HR sourcing strategies utilizing social media management tools and HR analytics for strategic planning.
