REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of history topics across different eras, regions, and themes
• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse learners
• Proficiency with learning technology platforms and digital educational tools
• Excellent tutoring and teaching skills with the ability to motivate students of varying ages
• Classroom management expertise to foster a positive learning atmosphere
• Background in working with children, early childhood education, preschool experience or childcare is highly desirable
• Familiarity with literacy education, writing skills development, and classroom experience in special education settings
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, literacy education, and historical understanding

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement comprehensive history curricula tailored to students’ grade levels and learning needs
• Deliver interactive lessons that make history engaging, relevant, and accessible for learners of all backgrounds
• Utilize various learning technologies and digital resources to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and productive learning environment
• Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, discussions, and assignments; provide constructive feedback to support improvement
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with special education needs or different learning styles
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators to support student development and address individual challenges
