Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional vocational training in truck driving preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record, ensuring compliance with local and federal laws.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks in a commercial environment, demonstrating reliability and skill.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards specific to heavy truck operations in the transportation industry.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Safely operate heavy trucks over long distances, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations, addressing any mechanical issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, miles traveled, and freight details to comply with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring that all items are secured and properly distributed within the vehicle.
