Full Stack Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily backend
• Strong experience with a server-side framework and relational database
• Strong experience building webhook-driven, third-party API integrations
• Working proficiency with a modern JS/TypeScript front-end framework like React
• Pragmatic eye for user experience in high-stakes flows

Preferred

• Experience with financial-account aggregation providers like Plaid, Finicity, or Yodlee
• Ruby on Rails experience
• Experience migrating or consolidating payment/billing systems
• Background in fintech or financial services
• Familiarity with CRM, lifecycle, or analytics tooling such as Intercom, ActiveCampaign, or Segment
• Experience optimizing top-of-funnel conversion and running experiments

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain registration, onboarding, checkout, and conversion flows
• Own integrations across the funnel including payment platforms, lifecycle messaging, and product analytics
• Contribute to the ongoing payments migration and simplify multi-gateway billing setups
• Work across the stack using React/TypeScript and Ruby on Rails
• Partner with product and design teams to improve top-of-funnel conversion
• Write tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
