REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of strong Go backend experience (production, not dabbled)
• Solid with REST API design (Gin), PostgreSQL + GORM, and Go concurrency (goroutines, channels, mutexes)
• Comfortable shipping with Docker
• Proficient in React (hooks), modern JavaScript (ES6+), and Tailwind CSS
• Genuine systems and architecture thinking — can design a solution, not just implement a ticket
• Takes ownership: given an outcome and guardrails, makes a plan, brings the team along, and delivers
• Strong async communication; comfortable in a remote-first team
• Based in the GMT to GMT+4 band (Dubai/Gulf, Middle East, Europe, UK or Africa) — Dubai/Gulf preferred
• Bonus: mTLS/X.509, real-time (SSE/WebSockets), time-series DBs (InfluxDB), HashiCorp tools, data-viz (Recharts/D3)

RESPONSIBILITES

• Design and implement RESTful APIs in Go (Gin framework)
• Build and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas
• Develop real-time features using Server-Sent Events (SSE)
• Implement secure authentication flows (JWT, mTLS, certificate validation)
• Build React components for device-monitoring dashboards
• Write integration tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to architecture decisions for distributed systems
• Architect, build, and extend business-critical internal tooling
• Own features end to end — take an outcome, plan it, build it, and see it through
