Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood  Education, Education, or related field
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (preferred or required in some institutions)
• Teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed. or EYFS certification preferred)
• 3–8+ years of experience in early years teaching
• 1–3 years of leadership or coordination experience preferred
• Familiarity with EYFS / MOE / CBSE / IB Early Years curriculum is an advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate the Foundation Stage (FS1/FS2 or KG/Pre-K) program
• Plan, implement, and monitor early years curriculum and learning activities
• Ensure child-centered, play-based learning approaches are effectively applied
• Supervise and support FS teachers, assistants, and support staff
• Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback for improvement
• Track and assess children’s developmental progress (cognitive, social, emotional, physical)
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Coordinate lesson planning, teaching resources, and classroom materials
• Organize school events, celebrations, and early childhood activities
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns
• Ensure compliance with curriculum standards (MOE / EYFS / CBSE / IB Early Years, etc.)
• Support teacher training and professional development in early childhood  education
• Collaborate with school leadership on FS policies and academic planning
