Freelance Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, agency experience preferred
- Detail-oriented (this one is a must)
- Highly organized, even in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who takes initiative and can problem-solve
- Experience with Asana or a similar project management tool
- Familiarity with Mailchimp or a similar email platform is a plus
- Legal or professional services background is a bonus, not a requirement
- Responsive – we need to know we can count on you
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write initial social media post drafts for select clients, following established brand guidelines
- Support our content manager with editorial tasks, content briefs and content delivery
- Draft LinkedIn and thought leadership content for our founder
- Help keep our project management system (Asana) up to date
- Compile monthly client reports by pulling data from Google Analytics, Search Console, and social platforms into existing templates
- Coordinate scheduling for client and internal meetings
- Manage event and speaker logistics, including tracking opportunities and follow-up
- Assist with email campaign setup and scheduling in Mailchimp
- Support PR outreach using provided templates and processes
- Maintain internal documentation and keep records current
