ELV Design Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within an engineering consultancy
• Proven experience in design consultancy
• Commercial acumen to provide cost-effective security and ELV solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical matters for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Revit and CAD design

Preferred

• Enthusiasm for staying up to date with the latest ELV systems integration and solutions

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including Telecommunication, PAVA, AV Systems, Electronic Security Systems, and Structured Cabling Systems
• Produce ELV calculations including CCTV Field of View, Recording Time, Capacity, and Wi-Fi Heat maps
• Coordinate with Architectural, Interior Designers, MEP, Infrastructure, and Landscape disciplines
• Ensure designs comply with local authorities such as Etisalat, Du, ADMMC, and SIRA to obtain necessary NOCs
• Prepare ELV Systems packages including drawings, single line diagrams, technical design reports, schedules, and specifications
• Liaise with local suppliers to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works
• Coordinate with BIM modelers using Revit and CAD
• Assist Senior Engineers with design support, presentations, and tender documentation
