Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in technical field, industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering or equivalent in Engineering or science field.
  • 10 years’ experience in industry focus on process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodology with hands on experience in driving and facilitating Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects/activities.
  • Expert knowledge of Lean production system and Six Sigma with the ability to develop programs.
  • Demonstrated hands on experience using Lean and Six Sigma tools and delivered successful projects in an operational environment.
  • Subject matter expert in specified manufacturing process such as Metal Stamping, Plastics injection, system assembly and electronics/electrical manufacturing process will be a plus.
  • Understanding of resource, capacity planning, and MRP system.
  • Experience of Business Processes improvement in facilitating projects for IT, HR, Finance, SCM, Sales & Marketing and other non-manufacturing functions is preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to lead team sessions and interface with cross functional teams.
  • Change Management skills and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define, deploy and sustain the Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy for the Dubai Campus, in alignment with the Eaton Business System (EBS), OPa, ECIS, and business priorities.
  • Lead the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and CI operating principles, including Standard Work, 5S+, VSM, Flow, Pull, SUR, TPM, DAP, including Hour by Hour accountability and daily management systems.
  • Establish, deploy and drive A3 Structured Problem Solving across the organization using root cause analysis and real-time problem-solving techniques.
  • Develop and maintain the CI governance system, including CI Annual Plan, ECIS deployment cadence, and structured Kaizen and improvement pipeline management.
  • Lead, facilitate, coach, or support CI initiatives and improvement projects, including Needle Mover projects, Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), Business Process Improvement (BPI) projects, cost-out and non-cost-out CI initiatives, as well as special or turnaround CI projects.
  • Drive cost effectiveness, product cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives, ensuring achievement and tracking of defined business benefits for each project in collaboration with Finance and Operations.
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing, functional and business processes using ECIS methods, statistical analysis tools and quality improvement techniques to improve process reliability, performance and sustainability.
  • Coach and develop leaders, manufacturing engineers, supervisors and operators on CI tools, behaviors and mindsets, embedding a strong continuous improvement culture across all value streams and functions.
  • Prepare, conduct and support ECIS-related training activities, mentoring and supporting candidates in ECIS / Six Sigma certification programs and building site-level ECIS knowledge, talent and competency.
  • Support EBS Strategy Deployment, OpA, EBSA, ECIS assessments and other EBS initiatives, including follow-up, calibration and alignment with Opportunities for Action (OFAs).
  • Drive standardization and best practice sharing across all Campus workstreams (MCB, PCBA, Plastic Injection, Shared Functions) and, where applicable, across selected EMEA sites.
  • Support new line, process and product ramp-up activities to ensure stable start of production (SOP), built-in quality and sustainable performance.
  • Track, validate, and report CI performance, savings and maturity progress through structured management review, ensuring accountability and sustainability of improvements.
