REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of document control experience in construction, engineering, or data center environments.
- Working knowledge of document control principles, revision management, and audit practices.
- Experience managing RFIs, submittals, drawing logs, and transmittals.
- Proficiency with Procore or similar construction document management platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and SharePoint.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting hyperscale or mission-critical construction projects.
- Familiarity with permitting documentation and AHJ coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and maintain document control systems for active design and construction projects.
- Administer document management platforms such as Procore and SharePoint.
- Maintain version control and ensure only current documents are distributed.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, drawing logs, and transmittals.
- Track document workflows to ensure timely reviews and approvals.
- Coordinate with design managers, construction managers, consultants, and contractors to maintain accurate document registers.
- Track permitting documentation and maintain organized AHJ submission records.
- Prepare weekly status reports, including aging logs and outstanding items.
- Conduct routine audits to confirm compliance with document control standards.
- Support project closeout documentation and as-built record collection.
- Identify opportunities to improve document control processes.
