Document and Vendor Management Specialist
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 5+ years of experience in Health Information Management Department
- Experience with Computers and Windows based programs including Microsoft Excel (view, sort, create and filter), Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Ability to work full time (40 hours / week), Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules within our normal business hours of 7:00 am – 5:00 pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to extend hours and work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with structured environments involving ticketing, tracking, and compliance steps
- Experience in medical record scanning and indexing
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support daily operational processes related to project releases and Custom Pull List (CPL) file management.
- Review and identify all inbound files including medical records, invoices, and other miscellaneous documents, ensuring all documents are managed and routed supporting HEDIS® data collection efforts.
- In this environment, productivity expectations must be maintained by remaining attentive and effectively working all available inventory.
- This role ensures the timely execution of release activities, accurate tracking, and effective communication with internal team and external vendors.
