Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the healthcare or wellness industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and empathetic demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with computer systems and appointment scheduling software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently using clinic management software.
- Obtain and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Provide detailed information about clinic services, treatment options, and policies to prospective and current patients.
- Assist patients with billing questions, processing payments, and insurance claims follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate communication between patients, therapists, and other clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient care.
