REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in physical agricultural commodity trading and/or origination.
Strong experience trading Wheat, Corn and Barley.
Proven track record in physical grain trading, origination or both.
Established network of suppliers and/or buyers in relevant international grain markets.
Strong knowledge of international grain trade flows and major producing/exporting regions.
Experience with FOB, CIF, CFR and other international commodity trade structures.
Strong understanding of commodity pricing, supply and demand fundamentals and trading margins.
Proven negotiation and commercial skills.
Ability to independently originate and execute profitable transactions.
Strong analytical and financial skills with a clear understanding of P&L.
Excellent English communication skills.
Arabic or French language skills are considered an advantage.
Based in Dubai.

RESPONSIBILITES

Manage and develop physical trading activities in Wheat, Corn and Barley.
Originate grain from producers, suppliers and trading partners across key producing regions.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, mills, feed producers and other market participants.
Identify new trading opportunities and develop profitable trading flows.
Negotiate purchase and sales contracts, pricing and commercial terms.
Manage transactions from origination and execution through delivery.
Monitor global grain markets, supply and demand fundamentals, crop developments and price movements.
Develop new trading flows and expand the network of suppliers and buyers.
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure successful execution of physical transactions.
Take responsibility for trading margins, profitability and P&L.
Identify opportunities for new markets, products and trading flows.
