Commercial Specialist
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Life Science or Business graduate with proven account management experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, or pharmaceutical sectors, with a thorough understanding of drug development processes, especially Monoclonal Antibodies.
- Expert in identifying key call points within the drug development workflow to introduce relevant products, with a strong grasp of key personas in biotech organisations, including contract manufacturing organisations and contract research organisations.
- Demonstrates consistent revenue growth and surpasses sales targets by leveraging commercial insight, business acumen, and influencing purchasing decisions in complex, long-term sales cycles.
- Possesses technical expertise in drug development, with hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, key opinion leader management, and effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Over 50% travel, and must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and strengthen customer relationships, proactively acquire new business, and develop targeted sales strategies to exceed targets.
- Manage the entire sales process and prepare accurate forecasts.
- Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and partners, represent the company at industry events, and deliver training to enhance brand presence and credibility.
- Demonstrate credibility with key personas in formulation departments, chemistry manufacture and controls, clinical development, regulatory, and stability teams.
- Support customers to understand and communicate guidelines, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with regulatory experts, monitor policy changes, translate regulatory developments into commercial opportunities, and support or mentor other associates in the region.
