Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Direct experience in banking, risk management, or regulated financial institutions
• Familiarity with OCC or federal banking expectations for governance and controls
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk and internal control systems

Preferred

• Prior role building risk/governance functions for de novo banks or fintechs pursuing charters
• Experience integrating risk frameworks for hybrid traditional and digital asset platforms

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement governance, risk, and control frameworks for a federally regulated financial institution
• Define governance structures, including board oversight models and decision-making processes
• Establish policies that meet OCC and banking regulatory expectations
• Build enterprise risk management frameworks aligned with federal banking standards
• Establish robust internal controls and operational policies across banking and digital asset activities
• Support all OCC application requirements related to risk, governance, and controls
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure full regulatory alignment
