REQUIREMENTS

• 8–12 years in equipment sales or rental, with minimum 5 years directly in dewatering – wellpoint systems, deep well, open sump, submersible and dry-prime pumps (adjust band as needed)
• Proven track record in the UAE/GCC construction, infrastructure or oil & gas market, with an existing network of contractors, consultants and client-side engineers
• Experience in the equipment rental model – utilization, fleet availability, mobilization and on-hire/off-hire cycles
  Technical skills
• Able to independently size dewatering solutions – flow rate, total head, water table assessment, site condition survey and pump selection
• Working knowledge of pump hydraulics, generators, header pipes, filters and associated ancillaries
• Capable of preparing technical submittals, method statements and costing sheets

RESPONSIBILITES

• Develop and grow the Dewatering product portfolio
• Lead sales and business development for the Dewatering product range across the UAE, engaging directly with contractors, consultants and key clients alongside the existing Sales team to identify and secure rental and sales opportunities.
• Conduct client and site visits to understand dewatering requirements, presenting our client’s capabilities and aligning technical and commercial expectations ahead of quotation.
• Carry out technical application and pump sizing – assessing flow rate, head, water table and site conditions to recommend the correct dewatering solution and prepare accurate costing in coordination with the technical team.
• Prepare and submit quotations and follow up to convert opportunities, including technical presentations to client engineers and decision-makers as required.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement, ensuring high-probability opportunities are supported with timely equipment availability and compatibility assessments.
• Identify, evaluate and manage suppliers and manufacturers for dewatering equipment and spares; support procurement, negotiate pricing and help build the rental fleet and inventory, communicating regular updates to the General Manager – UAE.
• Coordinate with the existing Operations team on equipment readiness, mobilization, maintenance and on-site support, ensuring rentals are delivered and serviced reliably.
• Align actual costs with budget and monitor utilization, performance and profitability of the Dewatering line, coordinating with Finance, Procurement and Operations.
• Build and lead a dedicated Dewatering team over time – recruiting, training and supervising an operations supervisor, technicians, operators and support manpower as volumes justify, including storage / yard and logistics arrangements.
• Review reports, technical documents and quotations on a regular basis to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and project pipelines across construction, infrastructure and oil & gas to identify growth opportunities for the division, and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and equipment reliability.
• Impose and maintain the highest level of Quality, Health, and Safety (HSE) awareness and management. Familiarity with HSE/Quality Management Systems to be utilized for audit, assessment, and best practice implementation.
• Be fully aware of all our client’s corporate policies, standards, and procedures and to implement and enforce them.
