Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ISTQB certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.

• Strong experience in automation testing tools such as:
• Selenium WebDriver
• Cypress
• Playwright
• TestNG / JUnit
• Experience in API testing using:
• Postman
• REST Assured
• SoapUI
• Programming knowledge in:
• Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Experience with CI/CD tools:
• Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred

• Experience in performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Banking or Financial Services domain experience is an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Generate test execution reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve test processes and automation coverage.
