REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field, with a strong foundation in engineering principles and agricultural science.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certification is highly desirable for credibility and career advancement.
• Proven experience with CAD software and agricultural modeling tools for effective design and simulation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex agricultural challenges and improve processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in other languages being a strong advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, fostering a cooperative environment.
• A passion for sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship to drive innovative solutions.
• Willingness to travel to rural locations for field assessments and farmer collaboration, adapting to various environments.
• Physical capability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and handle agricultural equipment safely.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new agricultural projects to ensure economic viability.
• Collaborate with agronomists and farmers to implement sustainable practices that enhance crop yield and soil health.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed engineering plans and specifications for agricultural systems.
• Test and evaluate prototypes of agricultural equipment for performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring optimal water usage and crop health.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Provide training and support to farmers and agricultural workers on the use of advanced technologies and machinery.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and advances in agricultural engineering to continuously improve practices.
