REQUIREMENTS

• any type of experience in tutoring and/or teaching
• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning for advanced learners
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms used for online or hybrid education
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively
• Background in social science research methods expertise relevant to graduate studies

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help meet the unique needs of an autistic graduate student
• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions focused on research methods, social science writing, data analysis, and other advanced academic skills
• Utilize learning technology tools
• Guide the students in effective time management, study techniques, and academic writing strategies
• Support the students in understanding complex theories, concepts, and technical terminology relevant to her field of study
• Provide constructive feedback and adjust tutoring approaches accordingly
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning
