REQUIREMENTS

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training in HVAC systems is preferred.
• Certification from recognized organizations (e.g., EPA, NATE) demonstrates a commitment to industry standards.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial AC systems is essential.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations is a must for compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Perform regular maintenance checks, including cleaning and replacing filters, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Install new HVAC systems according to local codes and regulations, ensuring safety and reliability.
• Calibrate thermostats and control systems for precise temperature regulation and energy efficiency.
