REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in heavy vehicle operation are preferred.
• Valid heavy vehicle driver’s license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements, demonstrating proficiency in operating large vehicles.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience in heavy vehicles, showcasing reliability and commitment to safety.
• Familiarity with GPS systems and navigation tools, enabling efficient route planning and timely deliveries.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of heavy vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations, identifying any mechanical issues before hitting the road.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, optimizing travel time while adhering to local traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Safely load and unload cargo, securing shipments properly to prevent damage during transit.
