Entry Level Business Analyst
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Create clear and detailed documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and process flow diagrams.
- Assist in mapping current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and project managers to ensure accurate translation of business needs into technical solutions.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, coordinating with end users, and tracking defects.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and project status to stakeholders.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and project meetings in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Maintain and update project documentation, meeting notes, and action item trackers.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate them proactively to the project lead.
